Column flood light (Transport Interactive)

The proposal is to light the two main architectural columns with an interactive LED floodlight installation.

RGB LED floodlights are installed in the ground at the base of each column and at ceiling level around each diagonal roof truss. All the lights are connected together and change colour in sequence.

The lights are controlled by information coming from the various travel networks and the colour of the columns will reflect the arrival and departure of the different modes of transport.

Column Light Matrix (People Interactive)

The proposal is to light the two main architectural columns with an interactive LED pixel installation. A matrix of digital LED pixels are mounted on the surface of both columns and roof trusses creating a 3D luminous form.

People walking in and out of the building trigger of animated light displays that wrap and twist around the columns responding to movement and animating the space.
